Tiaras.
Tiaras originally specified wealth and status, they were encrusted with diamonds and precious stones and were seen on royalty and society. Nowadays, the tiara has become a popular part of a wedding or party attire. Most girls dream of wearing a tiara on their wedding day.
When your considering the style of the tiara, it is important to take into account the shape and style of your dress, your colour theme and the style of your hair do. If your wearing a straight dress - a small classic tiara looks great whereas if your outfit is fairy tale glamour then a bold crown or tiara will look beautiful.
Make sure you take into account your colour theme - if you have a white theme, a silver headband will look complimentry, if you have a golden theme, a gold headband and beads are a must. Or have the tiara complement your bridesmaids colour theme - the possibilities are endless.
Now that celebrities have an almost royal status it is not surprising that stars are showing so much interest in tiaras and crowns, they have become an item of high fashion especially with designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Gianni Versace completing expensive designs with diamond and more contempory bronze or even plastic!
They can be worn as the piece de resistance or to punk up a shabby chic look of designer jeans and lace tops.A tiara ,crown or coronet could be regarded as a bit old fashion but in reality these beautiful forms of jewellery create enormous interest and versatility.
The origins of this noblest hair jewellery can be traced to primitive garlands and wreaths worn by all people for lots of celebratory occasions. They will usually have a meaning according to which metal or stone is used for example, victory - Laurel, love - diamonds, flowers such as forget -me -not and roses were also used.
Whilst the designs have evolved the tiara still survives in both fashion and society, with breathtakingly beautiful designs there is nothing else that can make a woman feel or look as elegant or special as these dramatic accessories.
COMBS CLIPS GRIPS / PINS.
Accessories can be the perfect replacement for a tiara for lots of reasons. They are just the thing for Brides or a special party prom event when you want to look a bit different or just wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing a tiara. They actually help to style your hair and can be as subtle or as glamorous as you require. The ranges can always be adapted to your own theme.
A large hair comb can be worn on one side to hold tousled curls to one side and would be perfect for a simple event or beach-side wedding. Tiny pins/grips can add an accent to all styles and look beautiful scattered in the style giving interest to the back as-well as the front of the design. An ornate hair clip can look just as stunning as a tiara and also anchors your hair in style e.g a chic chignon.
One more important point is to remember that your guests will be looking at your back whilst you take your vows so ensure there is a sparkle or feather for them to admire! So remember there are lot’s of ranges to browse to aid your choice read the product description page, happy hunting!
